I'm so excited to finally be able to share this with all of you! After months of knotting, reknotting, planning, and working late hours into the night, this dream has become a reality!
Here's a little bit about me and the inspiration for my work.
There has always been a drive deep within me to create, and the act of making feeds my soul. I find inspiration in all that surrounds me and my eye is drawn to the beautiful details. I love the art of expression through line and pattern. I aim for my work to bring texture and life to a space.
Ever since I was young, creating has been a defining part of my life and a form of expression. I was brought up being told to follow my dreams and that nothing is impossible, which inspired me to complete my degree in Material Art and Design at OCAD University, majoring in Jewellery and Metal Smithing. I currently spend my days working full time for a custom jewellery shop as a jeweller and designer. My love for for fibre and textiles has always been a constant, which is why I'm happy to explore expression through macrame.
